Our high quality vivariums Are supplied pre-assembled. No self assembly required! Our vivariums are supplied fully constructed and ready for use. No flat-pack, no missing parts, no tools required and no badly translated instructions to decipher.         Are constructed from 18 mm melamine faced chipboard (Finsa).  We only source our material from suppliers that have FSC accredited certification by BM TRADA. FSC (the Forest Stewardship Council) is an international, non-profit making association whose membership includes environmental and social groups and progressive forestry and wood retail companies working in partnership to improve forest management world wide.   Come with solid backs. We know that 3mm hardboard is unsuitable for a professionally built vivarium. We use the same 18mm melamine faced chipboard for all our panels. Our Vivariums are built to last longer than the cheap hardboard backed vivariums.        Have sealed base and sides. Melamine is waterproof but the chipboard may swell if water is absorbed so we seal our vivariums with silicon to provide protection against moisture and leakage.    Have clear removable front glass doors. We conform to BS EN 14072:2003 (glass in furniture. Test methods). Standard float glass is used for our vivariums up to a height of 24". For vivariums over this height we use toughened glass conforming to BS6206.     Include 4mm plastic glass tracks.             These runners are specially designed for sliding 4mm  glass doors.Bottom runners have small raised hump on the bottom of each channel running along it's length,this makes the glass run very smothly in the channels by reducing friction between glass doors and runner.   Come with fitted vents. Our vivariums contain the correct number of vents which provide optimum temperature and humidity levels. We use Ø70mm circular vents which allow plenty of airflow in and out. We can also provide our own designed Ø70mm circular vents with cable access cut-out slots providing the perfect solution for electrical cable to pass through with ease.    Can optionally have electricity fittings.        Our fitting kits include:- -           -    Batten holder       -   1m of 0.75mm flexible cable       -    3-pin plug w/fuse                         -    Mounting screws    Are sturdy and reliable for most species.     ND Aquatics Ltd are committed to providing you the highest quality of finished product that will meet you and your customers expectations.   Our vivariums are available in a variety of standard and bespoke sizes with a range of different colours to choose from.
