A. Cover glass is only included when purchased with a cabinet and hood. For glass tank only they can be purchased separately.

 Q. Do your cabinet backs have access holes for pipes and cables.
A. Yes, and also the back of our hoods.

 Q. I just received my 84x30x36 tank & cabinet but I can't get it through my door and inside my house. 
A. Before ordering a large tank you need to consider its final placement including access, door and hallway widths.

Q. How long will it take to build my tank once I place an order.
A. Our current lead time is 6-8 weeks. This can be reduced if we already have a delivery route scheduled in your area and there is room available on the van. For on-site builds our lead time is approx 10 weeks.

Q. Will the ordering process take payment from my card.
A. No, we will call you to arrange a deposit payment. This can be done over the phone.

Q. When ordering on the website there is no option to choose cabinet style, handle style and optiwhite glass.
A. The website ordering process is not final. We will call you so any options and changes can be made. See above.

Q. Will my Fluval FX5 or Eheim Pro 3 fit inside your cabinet.
A. Yes but we would recommend cabinet style 3 for tanks up to 60" and cabinet style 2 for tanks over 60". 

Q. How much deposit do you require.
A. We take 50% deposit. The remainder can be paid on completion before delivery (or on delivery by prior arrangement).

Q. Can the tank be used immediately the day I receive it.
A. Check the "date of use" label on the tank. 

Q. Do you make acrylic fish tanks.
A. No.

Q. What glass do you use.
A. We use 4mm, 6mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm and 19mm float glass and Optiwhite Low Iron float glass. Note: Optiwhite glass is only available in 10mm, 12mm, 15mm and 19mm.

Q. What is the largest tank you will construct.
A. We will do 120" x 36" x 36" (3m x 0.9m x 0.9m) on-site.

Q. What is the longest cabinet you will construct.
A. Due to the size of the MFC panels the maximum length of a cabinet is 108" (2.7m), Rimesi Beech and Wenge only, and 100" (2.5m) for all other colours.

Q. Can you supply pipework fitted.
A. No, we supply all the pipework unfitted. We will provide instructions if required.

Q. What does the pipework kit include.
A. It varies according to the size of tank and quantity/position of the wier(s). Basically it will include two or three tank connectors and all the necessary pipes, elbows, T-pieces, ball valve etc and solvent cement to construct a Durso style downpipe(s), and the return pipework.

Q. How many guys do you send when delivering my tank.
A. Just one if we deliver ourselves. You must make arrangements to take delivery of your item(s). The larger heavier items will require four people or more. Our guy will assist in placement. If we outsource delivery they will not assist in placement.

Q. Can you build me an aquarium that looks like a Juwel, Aqua Medic or Clearseal?
A. No, we build our own unique brand of aquarium, "ND Aquatics". We do not build aquariums that imitate or copy other brands.

Q. Do the marine tank only prices include the sump tank?
A. No, but they are available to purchase separately.

Q. Are your tanks exactly the sizes shown on your website?
A. Almost, always allow 1mm-2mm +/- tolerance.

 Q. Can I have doors fitted on a budget aquarium?
A. No, this is why they are cheaper.

Q. Can I have a custom sized budget aquarium?
A. No, they are only availalable in the advertised size(s).

Q. Can I choose a different colour other than the three options available on a budget aquarium?
A. No, they are only available in Bama Oak, Rimesi Beech and Black Ash.

Q. Does the tank only price include a hood?
A. No, but hood can be purchased separately.

Q. Can you give me 75% discount as its my Grandmothers birthday, chuck in the lights and deliver for free?
A. No, we are not a charity.

Q. Can I have a weir and drilled holes on a budget aquarium?
A. No, budget aquariums are are only available as tropical/freshwater tanks.

Q. Can I have Optiwhite glass and background colouring on a budget aquarium?
A. Optiwhite unfortunately not. Background colouring, yes.

Q. What is cover glass?
A. Sliding cover glasses, also known as condensation covers, are there for that reason, to prevent condensation.

Q. Does the hood include lights?
A. No, but these can be purchased separately.

Q. I'm interested in a 3D background, can you provide a quote?
A. We will forward your requirements to our associate 3D background designer & supplier. They will provide a quote and, where applicable, take payment and manage the order process. 

Q. Can you install a 3D background?
A. If we are building your tank then Yes. Our associate designer will forward the completed background directly to us. Installation cost £40.

Q. I have a problem with the supplied 3D background?
A. You will need to contact the 3D background supplier.

Q. You said my tank will be ready in 4 weeks and its now been 4 weeks and 1 day, where is my tank!
A. Lead times are approximate and 99% of the time we reach these targets but delays can happen. Staff holidays, absences, machinery breakdowns and other unforseen circumstances can all generate delays.

Q. When will my tank be ready as I need to arrange delivery of livestock and salt water, move fish from old tank to new tank etc etc.
A. Do not arrange anything until you have received your tank and it is ready to use. We will not be held liable for loss of livestock.
